Steering Committee and Aleutian Pribilof Islands Community Outreach Meeting
The August AMHS Reform Steering Committee meeting will be held from 9:30am to noon as part of the regional outreach and engagement of the Alaska Peninsula and Aleutian communities of Chignik, Sand Point, King Cove, Cold Bay, False Pass, Akutan, and Dutch Harbor/Unalaska.
Please join leaders from the Aleutians-Pribilof region and across the state, along with invited key stakeholders from Anchorage and ATIA.
AMHS directly serves the Alaska Peninsula and Aleutian communities of Chignik, Sand Point, King Cove, Cold Bay, False Pass, Akutan, and Dutch Harbor/Unalaska. The vast majority of riders on AMHS during the summer travel to and through the Railbelt communities along the road system.
The Aleutian Pribilof Islands Association (APIA) has provided their first floor meeting room for the August 18, 2017 Alaska Marine Highway System Reform Project Community Outreach and steering committee meeting.
The APIA venue is located at 1131 E. International Airport Road (between Old and New Seward Highway across the street from Alaska Wildberry Products).
The meeting will be teleconferenced and the public is welcome to join us at 1-877-378-0449 code 8249-4332.
